| I Paid £400 for a top of the range Toshiba DVD player some years ago and it lasted 13 months before it wouldn't read discs. Took it back and they didnt want to know. Contacted Toshiba and nothing. Tried to find some info on it and re-aligned the laser, still no good. Now got a Sony £150 unit which is better and 3yrs old!!! I wont buy top of the range again, grrrrr.
Summary: Electrical items are consumable now, although not good for the environment.
