i sincerely believe that duc uk would be forced to pay up for the parts if the rockers went prematurely

i would definately take issue with them and sue them if it came to it

i have seen rockers that are older from a high mileage bike which are absolutely fine and yet been shown 'low miles' ones with flaking coatings

it seems straightforward to prove the damage and therefore replacement is due to defective production ( a bad batch ? ) - i would be confident that in those circs the court would side with the consumer, provided it was serviced properly

it is irrelevant imho as to whether the servicing was done by duc or not unless they could prove a causal link between the rockers and 'bad servicing', which they of course can't

i had mine looked at in nov and luckily they were ok
if they hadnt have been i would not have just taken it on the chin as my bike has 2500 miles and a full service history
