ZDM = COUNTRY OF ORIGIN, ITALY, obviously!!
851 = CAPACITY
W = WATER COOLED
4 = 4 VALVES PER CYL.
B = ???????????
000285 = PRODUCTION AMOUNT NUMBER.
so, if it is the 285th 851 built it would have to have been a tri-color or an 89 model.
