surely the riders reps will be there because they are to represent the riders (they will be elected by the riders after all and therefore be accountable to them) so if they have an issue on the race committee it shouldn't be seen as just a personal rider rep issue but an issue that the riders want !! .... lets not forget that this is a riders series for dsc members ... and the riders therefore have an input as to how it is run.
this whole idea that the riders rep will make decisions on the race committee for personal gain is total rubbish in my opinion ... if ever a rider rep was found to be doing something along these lines (and i don't think it would happen) then surely the riders could vote that rep off at any point in the season and not just at the end/start of next ! |
