Ah yes, forgot about that. I used some clear tubing from B&Q to do the same thing on some carbon. You can buy it in black as well for about 65p a metre! You'll find it in the same section as the ropes, chains and stuff on rolls that you cut yourself to length.

Now thats the sorta stuff I'm thinking about,...I'll have a look in my local store when I get the chance.
I did think about some grommet strip we use for cable entrys in disboards and trunking.Usually clear but not very deep tho.
BTW,dont need much,...its not for a screen,...its to edge a bit of carbon.
