| My RS frame has a vin number but if you were applying for a logbook here you would need to have the bike inspected. Better option would be a new replacement frame from Ducati that should come without a frame number so that you can use your existing frame number
Best option is to talk nicely to Jim at Bike Enders
who currently has a y reg 2001 frame WLB & top yoke. At the moment he is trying to sell it along with the 748R engine, injectors, electrics and carbon airbox for £2200. I know because I asked about a 748R engine on behalf of a mate as a spare for his RS race bike.
So if the price is right he will probably sell Frame WLB and matching top yoke in a seperate deal.
