Basically...the bip is now called the E (or even just plain old 748), which is the base model with a passenger seat. This is followed by the S, which has a few more bits and bobs added and is a single seat. ...and this is follwed by the R...engine mods/suspension/carbon etc. They follow the same 'labeling' as the 749/999 range...the only difference is that the old E used to be called a Bip. The standard 748 is a fine bike...just like anything you always want the best, but it always comes down to budget. Work out what you can afford and then have a good look around. Now is the time to by a 748/916 as loads seem to be available, and its a buyers market. You could pick up a real bargain. |
