I wuz turnin' the spanner in an anticlockwise direction at 21:30 hours when the nut decided to spring orf and bounce orf the garage floor in a northerly direction. Me and my sarge gave chase but the nut disappeared under the workbench and could not be traced. We called in the dog team and after a short search we found the offender crouching underneath a pile of oil stained j-cloths. We immediately apprehended the suspect and put it in a high security jam jar on the shelf waitng to be torqued into surrender
