I posted about relocating testastreeta coils, and recieved no advice.
I had the idea that the coils could be relocated perhaps tucked into the space in the frame above the engine on little brackets. but as no advice followed shelved the idea.
Having limited finances I adapted my 996 track body work to fit my 996R by cutting off the air scoup and leaving about an inch of fibreglass to the top and bottom of the scoup.
it also needed a bit of mdification around the larger exhausts and sump.
the side stand hole is also differant, but this can be sorted by removal of the cut out switch from the stand.

there are loaction lugs on the 748 frame which you might be able to use, they look the same type as the lugs on my 996r. but i think that the engine might foul on that position. |
