| Hate to be a spoil sport, but if it's guest riders I'd like to propose a change to the ruling on trophies. I missed on one at Donny (but got the points) and was pretty miffed given how hard I'd had to work for it. If it'd been my only chance at some silverware then I would've been highly miffed, maybe even slighty perturbed....
Seriously, don't take trophies away from people who spend months preparing themselves and their bikes, and have spent their own cash doing it.

ps: There was a very good write-up in a PB last season where the journo made it towards the front of the pack, as a guest rider in earlystock, and rolled off on the last lap out of respect to those who race at every round. |
