Well there's no way that Ireland will beat England at Twickenham because Andy Robinson has chosen to make some sweeping changes since last weeks debacle in the Stade de France and is now fielding the entire Ampthill over 40's XV because they usually play better.

However, I have got the answer to why England didn't turn up last weekend - they quite simply didn't know that they had a game on.

I cut and pasted this today (18th March) from the home page of 'England Rugby' official home page of the World Champions

Latest on England - Rugby

England's run of victories in the RBS 6 Nations was ended by defeat in the Calcutta Cup fixture against Scotland.

Our next fixture is away in the Stade de rance against Bernard Laport's Frabce. England will be desperate to get back to winning ways and keep their championship hopes alive.

You can follow all of the action online at RFU.com from 15:00 on matchday as we will be bringing you all the action with live commentary from BBC radio five live plus a full stats package and match report

So there you have it. There are three things to note:

First, they haven't played the match yet - France is their next game
Secondly, they're not playing at the same stadium that the England vs France match is scheduled - apparently they're playing down the road at the Stade de Rance
Third, they're not playing the French, they're playing some team called Frabce.

So as soon as you Frenchies tell us we've got a game on, we'll tell our mums to wash their togs and we'll be there.
