| Apart from the obvious dangers of riding through an oil spill watch out for oil overspill at the fill point within a couple of feet of the pump.
The filler pipes on the Wayne autocourt fillers (which are just about most of the UK ones) are designed to fill a vehicle with the filler opening on the opposite side of the vehicle next to the pump - in other words - they're looooong - so when you pull up to fill, park the bike nearly a cars width away from the pump and avoid the plonkers spillage. |
