| Several options for having the what I would say is the best option, being able to run the engine on the side stand but as soon as you select a gear, i.e the neutral light goes out with the stand down the motor cuts.
Spending £25 to £30 on a kit with the proper connectors to a few pence on components and some time. I went for the latter but also bought a kit as unless you spend a lot of time on a DIY job with the soldering iron, heat shrink sleeving etc it might look a bit Heath robinson.
Not fitted the kit yet, me DIY job has worked OK for over 2 years.
