have rewired the bike, have removed all that is not required. Now comes the good bit: with the ignition switch turned off (this is a switch not the barrel with key type) the plugs have a very faint spark, the coils are ticking, due to the sparks at the plugs. Thus draining the battery. I've been though the wiring, can't see a problem. Changed the general relay, it still does it. When the run/stop switch is at stop it stops. And the bikes running fine apart from this now. Ideas would be appriciated no matter how obvious. |
