| had almost the same problem this week...changing the oil on my 748 and could i hell as like get the bloody filter off. think same issue of someone not smearing with oil and then just tightening it as tight as humanly possible.
in the end, i managed to get a strap type filter removal tool from halfords for £3 that has the strap made out of metal. took it off with a bit of brute but thought i would be knackered for a while. |
