| I don't have a problem with the MT nor have I ever had a problem. It's a moot point anyway cos I'm not a paid up member and therefore don't feel I have a right to complain. I just wanted to know why and where the thread had gone given that I had contributed to it and saw it as healthy debate. If the MT see fit to move it elsewhere then fair enough....as I said I'm not paid up.
FWIW I know what it's like to be on the committee of a bike club. I was for many years either the secretary, membership sec' or magazine editor of a large one-make international club. In the end the back-biting and pettyness of it all caused me to leave. It's the reason why I will never be a paid-up member of any bike club again and why, by and large, I avoid them with a barge pole. |
