Its not often you see a 748 win a race these days
North Glos club had the 3rd round of their Championships at Donington Park last Saturday, with DSCs Garry Smith running in the SoT race on his 996 on which he finished 10th in the quallifier and 9th in the points race, hopefully he will be along at some point to tell us all about it.

In the Formula 600 race my mate Simon Knowlson had a up and down weekend on his 748RS.
He won the Quallifier and was battling for the lead with Charlie Bishop on the latest R6 in the points race when he caught his right peg going around Coppice breaking it off, he tried to ride on but after he felt his foot against the wheel a couple of times he decided it was safer to pull out of the race.
