| If you're trying to fit 996 style (large vent openings at top of side fairings) to a 998 (testastretta engined) bike - then you'll need to modify the vents, or move the coils. If its track fairings, you'll be able to cut the back out of the recessed vents and it'll be OK.
The 998 fairings (no vents) will fit the earlier bikes with no mods.
