IMHO, you made a mistake regarding the rectifier location. Shorter are the alternator wires, longer is its life. Thus, you avoid burning connectors (even with the small Racing mod. 180 W ...) and all the electric risks supposed to start and create troubles from the rectifier. Reason why the best location is beneath the carbon battery holder, just in front the the inferior fairing hole, like Racing bikes. Moreover, don't hesitate to add a braid cable between the rectifier body and the frame or engine, according to its location, in order to enhance its own reliability ... |
