Mood: walking on sunshine.....
Things I learnt at Assen

Ali and Dickie are class roomies and travel companions.

La Place offers a great roadisde dining experience.

Sponsors fully loaded van does 102mph!

Leading the 1st session of the weekend on a track I don't know was a 'schoolboy error' - got done by the left! after only three laps.

Replacing your clutch lever can lead to slippage....and only four laps of the next session.

Replacing clutch plates is no fun.

Walking the track in the sun with a beer in hand is great. Never did see the fag packet turn in points...

Replacing clutch plates and still not adjusting the clutch lever leads to further slippage....and only four more laps.

Asking AK for help is a smart thing to do.

Qualifying with a working bike is great.....overshooting the last chicane can lead to a full bellypan of gravel..real crowd pleaser. = 7th

Phil, Andy, Ali, Dickie and I had the best dinner out in Assen, and I've not laughed that hard in a long time. Phil has issues with fruit....

My brolly dolly was a throwback.

My clutch/start was ****, I was 2nd last into the first corner.

Dom, glad your okay, but your a legend for stopping the race as I was in 24th after my **** start.

I need to go quicker on the first lap of any race to catch Phil.

583's are fast enough if you hold the throttle pinned for long enough...about 1 mile that is.

I got fastest 583 lap.

Getting to stand on the GP podium was the best.

ASSEN......I am not worthy, but will be back next year.

THANKYOU - DSC, DD, and everyone else in between.:b ouncy:
