When you bought the helmet you made a contract with the retailer, not the manufacturer. The retailer is obliged to sort it out, either by repair or replacement. If the goods are not fit for purpose you are entitled to an exchange. Go back to the dealer and create hell. Goods should be fit for purpose and of acceptable quality which this obviously was not. Tell them that you will stand outside their store with a sandwhich board and megaphone telling all how they treat their customers unless you get the service you demand. |
