Think you've hit the point Mav. We all like the speed buzz and most of us go fast enough, often enough not to wet our pants at the speeds that ducasa boasts about. There are still loads of places, even in this country, that are far enough away from the attention of speed cameras, the long arm of the law, built up areas, schoolkids crossing etc... Places far out in the country where you can ride your bike pretty much as fast as you like, or as fast as you dare, and where the only person who's at risk from your antics is yourself. Lots of us can, and do, open it up and exploit the performance of the bike in those conditions. There's a time and a place for everything, but 90 in a 40 is just taking the ****, and 133 on a motorway considering they are usually festooned with cameras and just about the only places you'll find a traffic cop nowadays is just being thick.
