Hi geoffp, I'll have a pint of IPA while you're there, thanks for asking. The bike will run fine without retuning, but you will always get smoother running (and usually better fuel consumption too) as well as the power gains when you get it set up on a dyno, but it does cost. With a low-mileage bike, it will be important to establish when the belts were last changed, because as they are made of rubber, they can 'set' if not used regularly, and as they are responsible for the health of your heads, its cheaper to change them sooner rather than later, and it _is_ a job anyone who looks after a bevel will be able to do :-)) |
