| yes leave it plugged in when you can. I had a new 1995 GPz1100 and the alarm/immobilizer killed the battery in about 10 months (no optimate), then I have had a ZRX 1100 (new) since 1997 and have just had to change the battery last month, not bad nearly 9 years out of it (all from using an optimate)
