I really think the best roads in France are in the East of the Country. Start in the Alsace / Vosges region, (La route des Cretes), you'll also find the best white wines of the country. Then head south to Jura, best road surfaces and bends I've ever ridden, Snetterton looks like a coutryside footpath. Don't forget to look at the landscape when you're there, the moutains and the coutryside are beautiful. Then carry on to the Alps, the centopassi region. Nothing needs to be added.

That's what I would do. Only problem is to get to the East of the country, you must cross the rest of it and that's not that nice... I don't like the South, too many people, common roads, craziest drivers in the country.
