| As mentioned when I first fitted the Mk1 to the 996 I had to give it a tweak with a set of pliers, the bit marked in Blue in the attached pic is the bit I had to tweak and on the Mk2 there is 5 to 6 mm removed from the back edge to allow better clearance between the protector and the main crankcase.
