A indication of how close the racing was in race 1 can be seen on the results sheet with 6 bikes crossing the within a 2.1 second spread, they were Antony Espindola, Phil Huntley, Andy Roberts, myself (Kevin Ellis), Dave Ainscough and Eric Howe.
