| How about if we were to all write to the local council saying that we will not now be visiting their area for a weekend break due to the heavy handed police action. This will therefore deprive the local hotel and guest house industry of vital income, as well as restaurants, cafe's, clubs etc. We should suggest that they would benefit from the cash injection and if they cannot do something about the situation then we will have to look for other areas of the country for our holidays.
Maybe a mail shot to local business, hotels etc pointing this out might be an idea.
Pressure from local councilors often gets results especially when they are worried about loosing votes. |
