As you know your oil has a viscosity quoted ie: 10w40 or 10w/50.

The upper figure is a measure of the oils viscosity at 100 degree C. What I'm trying to say is that your oil is designed to work at these temps .... so is the bike. Don't worry.

Just enjoy the Ducati and get out on the open road.

And on a different note I really hope you aren't the biker that sits in traffic .... I really hope you filter through
