depends how many miles you've done..
get a specialist dealer to do it, not one that will just go by the book but one that does what your bike actually needs.

http://www.motorapido.co.uk/ducati%20servicing.php They offer 2 services, if you have done 12000 miles + its one, if not, you dont need the forks stripped and cleaned so you dont pay for it.
These guys there reckon that the fork oil doesnt need changing until 3 years if you havent dont the miles.
My bike had only 2000 miles at 2 years old so there were a few more things that didnt need doing so i didnt pay for it. thats why specialist dealers are worth travelling for and talking too.
