Cool

I am not saying its ok to use force or bad language in any situationas its not, I live near a rough part of Bristol and young children just out of nappies turn the air blue as they pass my house which is a real shame, they grow up not knowing when it is right to swear or not and are heard using foul language in normal conversation. As for using force You have to be there to decide that and whether its the right decision afterwards will vary on the outcome. No one should be criticised for walking away as like I said you have to be there to decide that. Like the Old Buzzard I have witnessed bad behaviour and spoken out, like the time I was at Weston Super Mud beach race, the security guards turned the air blue at some people for some petty thing in front of families with children. It was a family atmosphere and not the time and place to threaten people with alsorts and language. I spoke to them and asked them to tone it down and was then told to keep my nose out or leave!
I have never been involved in a punch up because I refuse to get drawn into all that stuff, I always walk away as thats not me, however on the times I have had to use force I have done so using restraint moves that I use at work as I dont need to start punching people to hurt them. Sometimes I cant just look the other way as I believe I am doing what is right.
A couple of years ago I was camping in Cornwall with my wife. I was woken by a couple in the lane near the site having an argument. The argument became very nasty and it was obvious he was hitting her and moving on to rape her. I was out of the tent and into the lane like a flash. I wont go into details but it wasn't pretty. I pulled him off and his reaction was "Its my wife and I will do as I please" before taking some swings at me, I used my training and restrained him until the Police came. No one else on the site came out to help and at first I was angry however after I just thought maybe people were to scared to get involved as it was a nasty incident.
There was some swearing used there and it was appropriate I think.
