How to revive an engine that's been in the sea?!
Pretty much as the title says....
My brother found a reasonably new outboard motor in the shore-break and is looking to get it going. It's doubtful whether it's been turned over since it fell off whatever boat if fell off, but I'd still assume that it's full of water.
As somebody will probably reclaim it he doesn't want to spend any money getting it going, so what's the best bet for getting it up and running without trashing the engine?
