Removing the flywheel completely is an option on the early bikes on later ones you need to fit a lightened one. This allows the engine to rev quicker because of the reduced weight which allows you to get the power down sooner out of corners. There are down sides to this as the bike can be a bit on off at slow speeds through town etc. Some people swear by it others say its no good. So I guess I will just have to give it a go and see. The steering head angle can be adjusted on some bikes by 1 degree this is the 'Race' position. It will allow the bike to turn into corners quicker. Again mixed views on this some say track only some say not at all and some say only with the longer swing arm. So again you just have to try it and see if it suites your riding. Mike |
