| You certainly are getting the miles in Ruth, Your trip sounds a lot better than mine did this morning. Got out on the road for 0630 to meet up with Fil and Kelly for a little blat around the Western Route, Daventry,Bambury etc.
Though I would refuel at Towcester as I was running on vapour turns out it was closed , 400 meters further to Jacks Im out of fuel. Waits for Fil to arrive and mean while Ive scavenged a piece of hose pipe so I can syphon out a pint from Fils bike. Four mouthfuls of unleaded and with little going into the tank Fil goes of to another garage and get help, a guy who is racing at Rockingham volunteers to call back and helpout with a funnel and can. Great. Just about to start the ride out when me phone goes off , it the Airport Im still on Standby ( Smart arse though I would get away with it) So my plan to get out before the world woke up back fired. I find Im working all day on break downs. So its nice to read some one had a good one . 4D |
