I recently changed the fascias of my instruments due to the need to register the bike in France (KPH rather than MPH required): I can confirm that you'll need to cut (hack-saw) the barrel in two about a cm back from the fascia & then glue together once the repairs are effected. Whilst this is not visible once the clocks are back in place, you'll always know that imperfection is there .... if thats a concern! |
