We stayed at a Travelodge at Ashford (about 20 mins from Dover) right on Junction 9 of the M20 when we went to Assen.
There's a Pizza Hut, Cinema and other stuff there too. CCTV in the car park.
Was only £26 a night too, room for up to 4 peeps (double bed & sofa bed).
