At the risk of stating the obvious, I'd try the ignition switch first, and the wiring to it. Follow the leads from the switch and check the condition of the connectors where it joins the rest of the loom. If you can borrow/obtain a spare switch, you could try, er, switching them. They're a bit of a pig to get to, though, if memory serves. It's hard to route the loom "properly" without taking a lot of stuff off (radiator?). Anyway, it's bodgable. And clean the connections/terminals on the yellow relay skids mentions. It's one of that bunch near the oil filler. |
