Standard pistons work fine but if you're going to do this you may as well fit the Pistal high comp ones to make the most of things as the crank/rods/pistons assembly has to be re-balanced or it will shake itself to bits.

but ... to make the most of it you'll need big exhaust system, flowed heads, and on and on...

when you say pankle rs rods........from what bike? arnt the 999r rods pankle? do they need to be a shorter length cos of the increased stroke?
