with the power commander option, you could start off with a base map, then do your dyno runs, but you dont mention which dyno it is he has ? If its the 250 model, it will enable you to upload directly after a run, with the optimum map, taking into account the co readings etc. If its not, then you will have to spend a lot more time doing runs, analysing your info and adjusting the map in increments, in order to get it right. I have an FIM chip in my 996, and its does need tweaking, as it runs lean on the over run, so bear in mind that these chips do not solve all the problems, each engine / bike is slightly diff. |
