| When I was in Oz I tried watching a few games on telly and I thought what a load of old cobblers. But I ended up going to a game in Sydney. The West Coast Eagles v Sydney Swans. I loved it and am keen to see another game. Shame the Swans won though. As Perth was my favourite city I made them my team while I was there. Far better than the Fremantle Shockers! Not sure about the thing with the coaches being allowed to go on the pitch during play to give tactics. Plus when you consider how physical a sport it is, the fans all mix in the terraces and there is no trouble. Unlike our 'beautiful' game. |
