I use really high grade wet and dry on the pipes of all things they come up a treat but takes hours to clean
Brakes I use normal brake cleaner or maybe in extreme circumstances soak them then spray some wonder wheels on them but rinse off immediately as this stuff reacts like hell with the bolts... if you can remove the bolts first.
