Should already have an oil *pressure* light, so do you mean temperature gauge?

The later models have a temp sensor in the inlet cam cover on the horizontal cylinder, so you may be able to get one of them and use that - dunno if its the same as the 900 though. A 900 instrument cluster with the temp gauge incorporated would certainly look better from an "original" point of view.
