| Older bikes have spokes that are narrower at the hub and wider at the rim, later bikes have wheel spokes that get narrower towards the rim. Not sure exactly when they changed though, I suspect about '97 but I may be wrong.
Regarding the 900 wheels, that bike may have a 900 swinging arm in as well to take the wider wheel. |
