| rode to tortosa (between barcelona and valencia) and back over a week ...about 2600 miles... stunning 3 days in the pyrenees...millau bridge on way back... 2 weeks after buying my bike... 3 weeks after passing my test.
done on a 749s with gilles adjustable bars and rearsets (i'm 6'4") for a little more room... and a rucksak.
was excruciating at times... too small gloves on first day (650miles) rendered my hands useless for nuthing but holding the bars for nearlly 2 weeks!
bike didnt miss a beat... just slow cooked me in bordeax mornin rush hour...
but god i love that bike and i just cant wait to do it all over again...
tunnels through mountains with termis on loud .... hairpins climbing up and down mountains for days... |
