If the punters don't feel they have a realistic (or easy) chioice then they will go elsewhere eventually, but will kick up a big stink before they do.

As for barring someone, that might be a dangerous move as he may have the underlying support of the majority of the drinkers and they might also take a stance and not drink in that pub either.

Besides, Mr Banned might run a mini-bus company and run regular evening trips to the pub in the next town!!
