Mallory Trackday : i've lost the date... was it 2002, yeah i think so. Rain rain rain. The first time i met Jasper, Old Yella, and the young lad with the Joe Rocket leathers sorry. the first time i me Firefly, 4d, Dude, Guido and many many others. My leathers were stolen 3 hours before i was due to drive up to Mallory. I soon posted on here and had 3 sets of leathers waiting for me to squeeze into. We drank beer, talked rubbsih and had an amazing time in the wet on track.
Meeting guys like Alan at AJ Racing, meeting Skidlids who inspired me to race again after breaking so many bones, meeting 4d, glyn, Jools and Keefy.
The techincal knowledge throughout all my breakdowns and part swapping..
I post on here because of all that... and because i miss it all... i miss them guys and miss what we all had back in them days. I mpost because i live in hope that one day it will come back...one day we'll all be back there and it will be a cracking place to be.
I hope to rediscover some of this in DD next year spannering, and on a trip with Mav either to WDW or the Ring and the whole weekend of fun.
