don't get them started you'll have your fingers in your ears in no time at all.

I raced a 916 for 3 meetings, and it was found seriously lacking in speed compared to pretty much anything on the grid. It was fairly trick too.

I then moved for the next 3 meetings to a 750K1 and was within 1/10th of a second in the second race of the day, beating my PB by nearly a second by end of the day.

Costs... Hmmm... i only did 3 meetings, 4 races per day and i needed a £400 serivce on it before i sold it. the day to day running costs are no more than any other race bike, the broken bits these days are about the same.

It only really comes down to servicing and power.
