Have been using it for about a week now and have noticed good improvements over 1.5. Either way it's got to be better that IE7 which checks every site you visit against an MS 'whitelist'.....
Incidentally, for those of you that have their PCs tied at work, you can download a version that doesn't require installing from
http://www.portableapps.com and run it off a USB key. Works a treat.
