Cv's are good as a "calling card" but the important thing to bear in mind is that 90% of jobs are filled without a formal application process (and this is probably the reason that you hear about so many people doing their jobs badly). CV's only get your foot in the door with an interview. If you speak to the right people, eventually you'll get to someone who could use you. I've only ever written one CV and that was a formality for HR. |
