Used to do re-training for 'rescue' large breeds back in the early 90's.

Best combi I had was a Manchester terrier with a young shepherd - they worked fantastically as a team

If you have a Spaniel it will always be best if worked, full of beans and a right handful but when sorted nothing to beat them as an all round gun dog.

We've trained all sorts, mostly for security work so they have to be right before they go to the customer. Not so interested in the security dog side now, am going to concentrate on the springers now I'm semi retired.

Those "in the doggy world" will have no doubt heard the saying "A labrador is born half trained, a springer dies half trained"
